Eden Sabolboro is a communications leader and two-time EMMY® award-winning Filipino-American immigrant storyteller who brings over a decade of expertise in strategic narrative development and multimedia production to her role as Communications Director. Her career has been defined by amplifying underrepresented voices and crafting authentic, immersive stories that bridge communities and drive impact.
As co-founder of Reel Clever Films LLC, Eden has demonstrated exceptional leadership in developing and executing communications strategies across media, non-profit, education, and corporate sectors. Her portfolio includes successful partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, civic advocacy organizations, and grassroots community initiatives, showcasing her ability to translate complex messages into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Eden's strategic vision and creative direction have garnered significant recognition, including two Michigan Emmy awards and selections at prestigious international and Academy-qualifying film festivals. Her recent accomplishments include the Emmy-award winning and Webby-nominated "Senghor Reid: Make Way for Tomorrow" for PBS American Masters' and Firelight Media's "In The Making" Series, the environmentally focused "Into the Sugarbush" featured at the TED Countdown Summit in Detroit, and "WELL," a groundbreaking narrative-documentary hybrid supported by Black Public Media.
A dedicated advocate for inclusive storytelling, Eden has been selected for several distinguished professional development programs, including the New York Foundation for the Arts' Immigrant Artist Program, the Sundance Institute Creative Producing Lab (Detroit), and Firelight Media's Groundwork Lab.
